Asakusa kimono session and proposal at Tokyo Station

Kimono couple session at Asakusa temple

Having a forever promise during a oversea trip is very romantic. We often have such inquires from our clients.

If you want to capture your moment of proposal in our camera, there are two ways to offer.

First is, you make secret that you hire a photographer and I wait at a spot that we decide to make your moment happen.

Second is, we start as a couple session for a few hours, then as we arrive at a certain place that you think romantic, I set up a position and I give you a cue when it is ready.

As a photographer’s point of view, I think the second option because before the moment, I have total control over a good background, and when to capture the moment. Good way to make the photo look nicer, too.

Here is one case that I shot end of last year, for a couple from Indonesia.

Kimono couple session at Asakusa temple

Bryan is from Jakarta, and they have been together for a little over one year since they met at work.

First, he contacted me as a kimono session in Asakusa, as a memory of their first trip to Japan. But after discussing about shooting routes and where to rent a kimono, he decided that he want to make the session more special, with the wedding ring he secretly bought.

First he thought about making the proposal during the kimono session. Yet, he thought Asakusa session was just a preliminaries.

Maybe wait until when we arrive at more Tokyo like place, Tokyo Station.
