Sakura, a symbol flower of Japan, is so beautiful but also ephemeral. Which means, it only blooms about ten days, usually between late March - early April.

However, if you choose a location, you can experience its beauty for two month long.

Last April, we travel 2 1/2 hours from Tokyo to view last remaining, yet, one of the most amazing, sakura for the couple from the U.S.A.

It was already April 2th when the couple emailed us for the photo session, and their plan was visiting Japan on 24th. They almost gave up on sakura photo.

But I told them that if they are OK to travel, they can still experience.

We visited Nagano city, a mountain region of central Japan. It was once known for the place for winter Olympics.

Driving about 30 min. from the Shinkansen station, we arrive at a small village, where people planted 4 km long of sakura trees along the highway. It is so long that sakura boulevard continues forever.

Their blooming time is between mid-end of April.

So if you plan to visit Japan late April don’t give up. We can take you there.
