Arriving at Tokyo station and walk for about ten minutes between high-rise buildings, you can visit Hibiya park, Japan’s first western style park.
Once you enter, all the trees and greens hide views of tall building around the park, and you forget about being in the center of Tokyo, only a steps from imperial palace, or a few min. from government offices district.
It is a good spot for either sakura or autumn leaves, but my favorite time is late April when Nemophila flowers blooms.
It was also when this couple from New Zealand had the wedding ceremony there.
The couple hired on-location pastor service for the ceremony. I didn’t know there are such a service until then, but considering many Japanese do a western style wedding at hotels, there are high demand for that.
Having the eternal oath under the green trees, it was such a beautiful moment.
